Our Mission…
The Merrillville Education Foundation is committed to being the primary private sector partner in supporting public education where public funds are not available in the Merrillville Community School Corporation. This will be accomplished by providing grants for programs that encourage educational innovation, promote excellence, and create educational opportunities for students.

Our Goals…
In the pursuit of our mission, the Merrillville Education Foundation commits to create and develop programs and support roles in the following two areas:

• Development of business and community partnerships in support of Merrillville public schools.

• Fund grants, which support individual classroom and/or schools to broaden innovations at the school level and educational opportunities for students
