The grants for Round 31 were awarded in November of 2017. Thirteen grants totaling $8,597.82 were awarded to enhance learning experiences for Merrillville students. Students Doing Science, Drumming for Development, Peace Corners and One Book for All are just a few of the winning grant ideas.
Since 2002, the Merrillville Education Foundation has awarded 251 grants to teachers totaling $322,889.79. These grants have impacted more than 98,243 student experiences in grades PK through 12.
